First Day at the Zoo 2009

My Mommy and Daddy took Kayla and me to the coolest place today. We got rained on alot, but it was really fun. We saw elephants and giraffes, gibbons and kitty cats, manatees, lions, and bears...oh my! I even got to ride a choo-choo and pet a hedgehog! And I hoo-hooed at a hoot owl close up! Mommy says we will go back soon. I can't wait! There are also birdies ALL OVER the place...oh, and squirrels, but they are really fast, couldn't catch even one...and lots of fish......

ABC's

So, I'm not feeling very good. I had thrown up all day long and then spent 4.5 hours in a little room with Mommy and Daddy at a place called Urgent Care. I thought I knew a definition for "urgent" but maybe I was wrong. Anyway...when I finally could have a popsicle or two, it was like 11:30. I felt so much better, I thought I'd sing to Mommy's new camera. By the way, feeling much better now...and I have to say, this isn't my best performance, but it'll do.

Would you like some biscuits?

My grandma taught me how to make these things called "biscuits" this weekend. It was fun. First, I got to stick my fingers in some sticky stuff...which is always a good time. Then I got to stretch it out and flip it around and smash it, etc. It was a good time. Then I used one of those broken sippy cups to make that sticky stuff into a circle. After that, Grandma put them all on a baking sheet and in that black thing that gets hot. After they cooled off, I got to eat some. They taste better after they have been cooked, just so that you know...I wish someone would have given me a head's up.

She thinks my tractor's sexy...

So, Troy and I are all pumped up about this evening. We finally have good weather and a couple of good hours before bedtime for Joey to try out his new John Deere. He sees it in the back yard, yells "Joey's twactoor!" and runs over to it. "Here we go!" we thought. He hops on, Troy hits the accelerator and he takes off, laughs, hits it again, laughs, stops, hops off and refuses to get on again. HA! He just says, "Push it! Push it!" So maybe he's not a farmer, just a Salt 'n Pepa fan. Ah, wait til Pa gets here...there will be some tractoring then!

Wait a minute! Is that a sweet ride that I spy?
Oh, yeah!
Figures I would have to push it.

Indiana Joey

My Auntie Andrea gave me this shirt for Christmas. My Mommy says that archeologists need to have the rigth tools, so she gave me a couple of paintbrushes to practice uncovering artifacts carefully. So far it's just not as exciting as the movies. I'm gonna have to talk to Auntie Andrea about that...
